Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using mtnduck.com, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

The site is operated by Hardball HQ LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, doing business as MTN Duck Press. MTN Duck Press is a trade name, not a separate legal entity.

What the site does

The site provides information about MTN Duck Press, our books, and our publishing services. It may also provide a way for authors to apply to work with us.

Information on the site is not an offer to publish a particular work or provide a particular service. The site does not accept service orders directly. We do not begin publishing work unless Hardball HQ LLC d/b/a MTN Duck Press and the author sign a written agreement that describes the project and its terms.

If the site offers a book for purchase, the purchase may be handled by a third-party retailer or payment provider. Any additional purchase terms presented at checkout also apply.

Your use of the site

You agree not to:

• Use the site for an unlawful purpose or in a way that violates another person's rights.
• Attempt to break, probe, or bypass the site's security.
• Disrupt the site or interfere with another person's use of it.
• Scrape, harvest, or bulk download site content or data without our written permission.
• Use a form to upload or send material that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to provide.

The MTN Duck Press name and logo, and the site's original text, images, design, and layout, are owned by Hardball HQ LLC d/b/a MTN Duck Press or used with permission.

You may link to the site and share links to its pages. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, or use site content for commercial purposes without our prior written permission, except where the law allows.

Nothing in these terms gives you rights in an author's work, a book, or other material described or displayed on the site. Those rights belong to their respective owners.

Third-party links and platforms

The site may link to retailers, publishing platforms, or other third parties, including Amazon KDP, Lulu, and IngramSpark. We do not control those services or their terms, privacy practices, products, or availability. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

MTN Duck Press is not affiliated with or endorsed by Amazon KDP, Lulu, IngramSpark, or other third-party platforms. Purchases made through a retailer are between you and that retailer. The retailer controls its checkout, payment, delivery, and returns process.
